Mira Zimet is an award-winning filmmaker with more than 22 years writing and producing short and long-form documentaries, educational videos and digital content. Her documentaries have aired on PBS, Discovery/Times and E! Entertainment. In 2014, she founded The Storyboard Project to give youth with a lived foster care experience the opportunity to highlight their stories. Videos produced by The Storyboard Project have been shared by: Journey to Success, Peace4Kids, The Imprint, Think of Us, PBS SoCal, among others. Awards include a “Content Creator of the Year” FosterMorey by the Foster More organization, a Telly, a Communicator Award and best online webseries, documentary at the Austin Webfest. In addition to her work with The Storyboard Project, Mira worked at USC from 2008-2022, first as the Executive Director of Video Production at USC Dornsife and then later, as the Chief Creative Content Officer at USC Annenberg. She served as primary producer and director on hundreds of short films for the University and won numerous awards. Mira has a B.A. in film from California State University at Northridge and a Master’s in Professional Writing from USC. She also serves on the board of Peace4Kids and is a member of the Producers Guild of America.
Jasmine Mora is on the board of the Storyboard Project and is a proud Trojan alumna. She has worked at USC since graduating with a degree in sociology and was instrumental in creating and coordinating key initiatives, including the Trojan Guardian Scholars Program, First Generation College Student Summit, and First in the Family Welcome Week reception. She currently works as the senior event coordinator at USC Annenberg and has a lived foster care experience.
Eric Z. Weintraub is an award-winning author and filmmaker whose work tackles important social issues occurring in the United States today. He is the co-founder and director of photography for The Storyboard Project. He published his first novella, Dreams of an American Exile (1888 Center) in 2015, which won the inaugural Plaza Literary Prize. A graduate of USC with a degree in narrative studies, Eric also recently earned a MFA in creative writing from Mount Saint Mary’s University. He lives in Los Angeles, CA.
Amy McCammon is an educator and business social entrepreneur. As an Educator she has the opportunity to collaborate with innovative school leaders and teachers, provide strategic support for operations, curricular design, and instructional strategies. She helped to coordinate and provide technical support for the start-up of two internationally focused schools in the L.A. area and co-founded two innovative Charter Schools in the Pasadena, CA area that focus on personalized learning, social leadership and healthy living. Her passion is to change the way schools educate all students to meet each and every child’s personalized learning needs. Whether that be in the area of academics or social/emotional, preparing students for the life beyond compensatory education as they transition to college, career and/or adulthood.
