About Leaning Into Me

We know young people are naturally curious and open to discovering new ways to understand themselves. Growing up surrounded by magic, fantasy, social media, and gaming, you’re already used to exploring worlds full of possibilities. That’s exactly the vibe we’ve brought to the Leaning Into Me box, designed especially for youth who’ve navigated the foster care system.

Inside the box, you’ll find tools that help you tap into your inner strengths and explore who you are. Start by picking a card and opening the Healing Guide to discover what lesson or insight might be waiting for you today. Dive into challenges and strengths tied to your personality and explore grounding techniques inspired by the elements—earth, water, air, and fire.

The box also invites you to look at yourself holistically—mind, body, and spirit—using tools that are creative, fun, and made just for you. Think of it as your personal guide to self-discovery, designed to help you grow stronger and feel more connected to yourself and the world around you.

What's In The Box?

Healing Card & Guidebook

The healing cards were created specifically for youth with a lived foster care experience and are designed to serve as daily reminders for those who are more tactical and would seek out self-help books or inspirational videos and social media posts.

Enneagram

While many people are familiar with personality tests such as Myers-Briggs. DISC training and StrengthsFinder, the Enneagram primarily focuses on the underlying motivations, fears, and core beliefs that drive an individual’s behavior.

Energy Cards

Like counseling or psychotherapy, energy healing is a way to look at what’s inside the mind and learn how to use the energy in and around us to heal. While good energy can be accessed through yoga, mindfulness and strategic breathing exercises
